Known Races Feature

What is This?

The "Load Known Race" feature gives you instant access to a library of popular race routes. Instead of searching for and uploading GPX files yourself, you can load pre-loaded routes for races like UTMB, Ultra-Trail Australia, and many others with just a few clicks.

How to Load a Known Race

The search box makes it easy to find specific races: - Type "2026" to see all races happening this year - Type "UTMB" to find all UTMB races - Type "100" to find ultra-distance 100km/100-mile events - Type part of the race name like "Tarawera" or "Kosci"

Available Races

The library includes routes from major race organizers including: - UTMB: Ultra-Trail Mont Blanc series - Outer Limits: Australian trail running events - Single Track Events: GPT100 and other ultras - And more being added regularly

Each race shows: - Race organizer - Race name and distance - Year of the event

Why Use Known Races?

  • Start planning immediately: No need to hunt for GPX files online
  • Try the app: Explore race planning with real events before committing to your own
  • Compare races: Load different events to see which suits your fitness level
  • Accurate data: All routes are validated and ready to use

Once you've loaded a known race, you can adjust all the planning parameters (pace, nutrition, checkpoints) just like you would with your own uploaded GPX file.
